Recently my brother-in-law and my husband tore down a old house. This is some of the lumber saved from the old house. I can't wait to see what my husband builds with this. I have SO many ideas for him. :) Reclaimed lumber is a very popular thing right now. My husband's dream is to build rustic furniture with reclaimed lumber. So many farmers are building new houses or new metal builds and they either don't want to spend the time and money to fix or upkeep the older building or they don't want to pay the taxes on the old builds that they just tear them down. Sometimes you get lucky and get to save the reclaimed lumber to build something beautiful. He will be building reclaimed rustic furniture, kitchen cabinets, and installing rustic trim in homes. I will post pictures of his creations as soon as he gets them done. <br />
